Everything works (?) great but the results. I've had xoopsHP installed on my site about 2 months but am now just getting around to it activated and using it. I was able to load the files and customize no problem (great idea and thanks again!!!!)
However when I click the results the box opens up with the error "Access Denied" in the box. I checked out your sample ones and it came out without a problem. So I'm really stuck with what to do...I read all your documentation and in HP I made I clicked the feedback option requirements. My site is closed to the public, I do have a registration, but it's only my students that get on the site. Any guess on what might be causing this error? permissions?!?! I haven't changed anything. Help is greatly appreciated, I'd like to start using it as soon as this bug is fixed..and my friend too who also uses it. Cross-cultural communication :) Thanks Jason |

Re: Everything works (?) great but the results. I use Xoopshp extensively and have seen this issue under two different circumstances.
1) A top level directory is .htpasswd proctected. You can access a sublevel xoops directly, but the popup caused a access denied due to a higher level password protection. 2) Recently, I tried running a server under a non standard http port. So, rather than port 80, I had 8888 running. I received the same error you described above. The interesting this with this was that I could not track down a log error associated with it. Decided not to fight with 8888 and went back to 80 (must be a Hot Potatoes setting). If this doesn't help, you'll have to provide more info. xoops, php, apache, xoopshp versions, etc. Jim |
